The mission of the Cedar Grove Junior Baseball and Softball League is to provide an organized baseball and softball program for the youth of Cedar Grove. This program teaches and develops skills, promotes sportsmanship, helps enhance the self-confidence within each child, and most of all promotes fun and recreation. In 2019, over 300 boys and girls from Kindergarten through 8th grade participated in the spring program. During the summer, the Cedar Grove Junior Baseball and Softball League entered eight (8) teams into seven (7) different travel divisions, five (5) of which were run by the League.

The Cedar Grove Junior Baseball and Softball League is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. The League’s operating expenses are primarily obtained through registration fees and sponsorships. These fees are used for uniforms, equipment, insurance, umpire fees, field maintenance and upgrades. The Cedar Grove Junior Baseball and Softball League utilizes our volunteer base to offset operating expenses.

Sponsorships fall into three categories, Team Sponsor, Sign Sponsor and Contributor. Sponsorship brings increased visibility to your business and returned support from the families that participate in the League.

As a team sponsor, company names are printed on the back of each players jersey. As a Blasi or George Street Field sign sponsor, there are various opportunities that provide visibility from April through October. At both of these fields, signs are displayed through the summer and fall travel seasons, providing exposure to non-residents as well.
