CGJBSL Opening Day - Saturday, April 13th
The Cedar Grove Junior Baseball Softball League is proud to announce our annual Opening Day Ceremony on Saturday, April 13th! After a string of rained out Opening Days, we are looking at a great day Saturday
We will kick off the festivities with a parade of all of Cedar Grove's finest baseball and softball players. The athletes, dressed in their uniforms, will march around the Panther Park multipurpose field where the ceremonial first pitch will be thrown officially starting the 2024 season. Please bring your family and friends to cheer on our athletes!
Cedar Grove Baseball and Softball gear will be available to purchase. The concession stand will be open serving hotdogs, chips, cookies, water, Gatorade and coffee. Please come out to support the league and our players.
All players will be dropped off in the Panther Park parking lots. At the curbside, they will check in with their coaches, so they can line up with their team. The parade is scheduled to start promptly at 10:00am. Please note that after dropping off your player, parents and family members should proceed to the parade route alongside the running track and then move to the grandstand for the opening ceremonies.
There will be additional parking available on both West Bradford Avenue and Grove Avenue. The Cedar Grove Police have advised us not to park in private lots such as Canterbury Nursing Home and Dunkin Donuts.
Please note, no rain date has been scheduled for this event.
